The Ethereum Foundation’s Ecosystem Support Program (ESP) provides both financial and non-financial resources to projects that strengthen Ethereum’s core infrastructure, developer tooling, cryptographic research, and the broader builder ecosystem. Grants are awarded through a formal application process, with funding available for both small, early-stage experiments (capped at $30,000) and larger, multi-phase initiatives that require deeper collaboration and more extensive support. In addition to grants, ESP offers guidance, mentorship, project feedback, and ecosystem connections, including help navigating the Ethereum landscape and refining proposals.
