1. Information We Collect
Moon Hub ("we", "our", "the Platform") collects the following categories of information when you use our services:
1.1 Wallet Information
When you sign in or use wallet-linked features, we store your public wallet address, a signed-session identifier, and any holder-wallet binding you explicitly verify. The signature proves control of the address and does not authorize a transaction. We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or the ability to initiate transactions on your behalf.
1.2 Usage Data
With your consent, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights process page-use, device, regional, and Web Vitals data. If error monitoring is enabled, Sentry may process application errors and limited diagnostic context for reliability and security. Moon Hub disables session replay and configures Sentry not to send default personally identifying information.
1.3 Newsletter & Watchlist
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. Watchlist preferences and notification settings are tied to your wallet address or session and stored securely.
1.4 Content Submissions
When you submit content (hackathons, jobs, grants, etc.) through our platform, we collect the information you provide in the submission form. This data is reviewed by our moderation team before publication.
1.5 Advertising and Payments
Advertising requests contain the company, contact email, creative, and destination URL you provide. Stripe processes payment details and sends Moon Hub payment status, checkout identifiers, and campaign metadata; Moon Hub does not receive full card numbers.
1.6 Device Storage
Your browser stores analytics consent, recent searches, and unfinished submission drafts locally on your device. You can clear these through Moon Hub controls or your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Platform
- To verify NFT and token holdings for gated content
- To send newsletter updates (with your consent)
- To match watchlist preferences and deliver notifications
- To process and display approved content submissions
- To improve Platform performance using aggregate analytics
- To display relevant advertisements based on content context (not personal data)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure, anonymized analytics
- Supabase — database hosting (data encrypted at rest)
- Stripe — ad payment processing (we never store card details directly)
- Solana RPC providers — on-chain data verification (public data only)
- Resend — newsletter delivery and unsubscribe processing, when outbound newsletter delivery is enabled
- Sentry — error and reliability diagnostics, when error monitoring is enabled
4. Data Retention
Signed sessions expire after at most seven days and can be revoked by signing out. On-chain verification caches expire automatically, including degraded fallback data after ten minutes. Recent searches and drafts remain only in your browser until you clear them, discard the draft, or clear site data. Newsletter records are retained while subscribed and then suppressed so an unsubscribe request remains effective. Submission, advertising, payment, security, and support records are retained only for fulfillment, fraud prevention, dispute, tax, or legal obligations and are reviewed under the data-retention procedure. Disconnecting a wallet only changes client connection state; use sign out to revoke the server session.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, object to processing, withdraw analytics consent, or export your personal data. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to withdraw analytics consent. For other requests, email privacy@moonhub.tools. We may ask you to sign a non-transaction message before disclosing or deleting wallet-linked records.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database connections, and access control policies. All on-chain verification is read-only. Wallet signatures prove ownership but do not grant transaction authority.
7. Minors
Moon Hub is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it as reasonably practicable. Contact privacy@moonhub.tools if you believe a minor provided personal information to Moon Hub.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
