Events Strategist

About the Role

OtterSec is looking for an experienced Events Strategist. In this role you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing our industry and internal events. These include major conferences as well as smaller side events, meetups, and partner events. You will be the main owner of our events calendar, support the company s brand and visibility, and design an outstanding experience. We work closely with leading projects across ecosystems like Solana, Sui, Near, and Aptos, providing a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to security. Our focus is on identifying and resolving critical vulnerabilities before launch, ensuring projects are protected against real-world threats from day one. To date, OtterSec has audited over 400 projects, uncovering critical vulnerabilities in the majority of engagements. The firm actively protects more than $36.82 billion in total value locked (TVL) and has helped prevent over $1 billion in potential losses. Beyond audits, we partner with teams throughout their journey, offering ongoing research, guidance, and support to help them navigate an evolving security landscape. Key Responsibilities• Support, plan, and help execute major industry events and smaller conferences • Influence our event strategy and build and maintain the event calendar • Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external partners • Coordinate sponsorship opportunities and speaking engagements • Handle travel and logistical planning, event materials including merch and swag, all other supplies, as well as registrations • Proactively triage conference invitations and analyze the market to help determine which events strategically have a strong ROI • Help create a strong, consist...
