About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data and Analytics team. Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to visualisation and reporting, ensuring data quality and security throughout. Key Responsibilities: Data Integration and Management: Integrate multiple data sources into our cloud-based Data Warehouse, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Design and implement robust ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. Ensure data security and compliance within cloud environments, adhering to industry best practices. Data Modelling and Visualisation: Develop and maintain data models. Create dashboards and visualisations using data visualisation tools. Proactively identify reporting needs and deliver high-quality reports to stakeholders. Automation of Business Processes using no-code low-code tools: Partner with business teams to help automate parts of their workflow. Stakeholder Engagement and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders across various business functions to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven solutions. Respond to data queries and requests, providing accurate and timely information. Translate loosely defined requirements into clear and actionable solutions. Analyse data issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Regulatory Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely regulatory reports.
