Job Overview The Commercial Operations Associate supports CleanSpark s AI data center projects through procurement, contract administration, and financial analysis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, this role evaluates vendor proposals, analyzes budget variances, resolves commercial issues, and recommends actions to support project delivery. Key Responsibilities Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures; recommend actions to address variances. Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend suppliers based on cost, terms, delivery, and risk. Negotiate commercial terms within delegated authority and coordinate required approvals. Review contracts and change orders; recommend responses to commercial risks and vendor issues. Investigate and resolve nonroutine procurement, invoice, and payment discrepancies. Apply commercial policies and financial controls, escalating matters outside delegated authority. Improve procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting processes. Prepare reports highlighting commercial trends, risks, and recommended actions. Maintain accurate commercial records and project data in company systems.
