Bring yours to Block.</p> <h4><strong>The Role</strong></h4> <p>We’re hiring a People Automations Builder to simplify how the People Team works and build tools that improve speed, quality, and employee experience.</p> <p>You’ll partner with People leaders across operations, performance, compensation, talent, and executive communications to translate business needs into practical automation products. The ideal candidate combines consulting skills, product thinking, technical fluency, and sound judgment about using AI to build software.</p> <h4><strong>You Will</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Use AI tools to prototype, build, and improve internal tools.</li> <li>Partner with People leaders to identify problems and prioritize automation.</li> <li>Simplify processes before automating them, creating intuitive workflows.</li> <li>Partner with technical, data, and People systems teams on reliable, scalable integrations.</li> <li>Use data and feedback to measure and improve results.</li> <li>Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and impact to senior stakeholders.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>You Have</strong></h4> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience improving processes or operating models, ideally in People, HR operations, or another internal-services function, with a track record of simplifying a process</li> <li>Proficiency with AI tools for building and testing software.</li> <li>Ability to turn ambiguous challenges into practical solutions.</li> <li>Experience improving processes or operating models.</li> <li>Experience building automation, tools, dashboards, or software.</li> <li>Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, Snowflake, or similar platforms.</li> <li>Technical fluency across data, systems, and integrations.</li> <li>Strong UX and design instincts.</li> <li>Executive presence and communication skills to influence decisions and explain tradeoffs.</li> <li>Curiosity, ownership, and a bias toward action.</li> </ul> <p>We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace.
