Although Bitcoin (BTC) price has been trapped in choppy consolidation over the past eight days through September 29, 2026, BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK) and Fidelity Investments have supercharged weekly cash inflows for the United States spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to their highest level since the October 10, 2025 crypto crash.

The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net cash inflow of about $2.39 billion on September 25, according to data from SoSoValue. During the week of the 10/10 crypto crash, these ETFs collectively posted a net cash inflow of $2.71 billion.

So far this week, these digital asset ETFs have recorded a net cash inflow of $31.07 million. As such, the U.S. spot BTC ETFs have around $107.82 billion in total net assets at the time of writing.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted a net cash inflow of $1.16 billion last week. On Monday, IBIT saw a net cash inflow of $54.84 million, thereby increasing its net assets to roughly $66.85 billion.

Bitcoin price performance amid renewed institutional demand

The renewed demand for Bitcoin via U.S. spot ETFs has helped reduce bearish sentiment, which has persisted over the past 12 months.

Furthermore, BTC price has traded above its May peak of near $82,000, despite falling 2.34% over the last 7 days.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin’s 24-hour trading volume was at $33.84 billion, up 9.43% in the day. Consequently, the renewed demand from U.S. spot ETFs has catalyzed bullish sentiment.
