CLARITY Act News: Andrew Cuomo Calls Its Failure ‘Murder On The Orient Express’

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the CLARITY Act collapsed mainly because of election-year politics. Speaking onstage at OKX, he said it was “murder on the Orient Express for a number of reasons, but basically it was politics.” He pointed to the timing just before the midterms and asked: “If it passes, does one side claim victory?” Senator Cynthia Lummis made a related argument on X.
