Story HighlightsThe ICE-Trade [XYZ] partnership has amplified institutional interest and strengthened the Hyperliquid price outlook
After rising above $90, HYPE price targets $95, which may potentially open doors towards the $100 psychological level
The broader crypto market faced strong selling pressure after the $6.3B Binance exploit triggered $1.5B in long liquidations. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid is moving in the opposite direction, defying market sentiment. The strength comes from growing institutional interest following a major partnership involving Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, and Trade.

ICE-Trade [XYZ] Partnership Adds an Institutional Catalyst to HYPE Price Rally
Hyperliquid’s recent price strength coincides with a major institutional development involving Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, and Trade (XYZ). The agreement aims to introduce Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures markets in the US, potentially expanding the platform’s reach beyond its existing crypto trading activity.
Under the proposed arrangement, ICE will operate the regulated exchange and clearing infrastructure, while Trade [XYZ] will develop and implement the perpetual futures markets. Hyperliquid will provide the underlying blockchain infrastructure through its HIP-3 framework, which allows third parties to deploy permissionless perpetual futures markets. This development introduces a potential institutional adoption catalyst at a time when the broader crypto market is facing selling pressure.
HYPE Price Rebounds From a Crucial Support
The Hyperliquid price is showing signs of a bullish recovery, with the token rebounding from the $78-$80 support zone. The latest move to $91.50 has brought the previous ATH near $98 back in focus, while the $100 psychological level remains the next major upside target. The chart below shows the HYPE price reclaiming its daily pivot at $88.03, shifting the immediate momentum in favour of the buyers.
The RSI has surged significantly, moving above its signal average of 44.12, indicating strengthening bullish momentum. The indicator is yet to approach the overbought threshold of 70, indicating the upswing may extend further. On the other hand, the bullish candle is accompanied by an increase in trading volume, suggesting renewed buying participation. However, the $98 to $101 region remains an important hurdle; failure to break could trigger profit-taking and drag the price below $90.
